Below are some examples of educational experiments, forms of pedagogy, and methods of knowledge-sharing (contemporary and historical) that operate beyond the limits of formal and exclusionary institutions and systems. Research these models and practices, and add notes, links, and other materials.

You are encouraged and invited to contribute examples. (Note: changing the properties changes them for every example, so please do not change existing properties (links, summary, keywords). See formatting guidelines below.) For each precedent, let's collectively add a brief paragraph that summarizes the approach, objectives, and other relevant details. Let's also figure out a format that is searchable and useful beyond this event.

For our meeting on Monday, October 19th, choose a precedent (or technique) that you find compelling in the effort to actively reimagine educational practices and norms. Closely study this model. In groups, imagine, frame, and script a 'scene' that illuminates key dynamics and draws out details you would like to discuss with the larger group. You may either enact your scene in a video OR plan to perform live. Below you can upload your videos, scripts and any other supplemental materials. Also prepare a set of questions or prompts to guide the discussion with the larger group about your scene.
